Kathy Patman is a visual artist, graphic designer, and web designer who lives in Southern California. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Art History from the University of San Diego and earned a second degree from the Art Center College of Design. Ms. Patman also studied graphic design at East Texas State University and painting at The London School of Modern Art.  After a successful career as a graphic artist for others she started her own company, Patman Design, which she ran for a number of years until she rediscovered her passion for the ocean and the surfing lifestyle.  

 

Her inspiration stems from a multitude of beach scenes, spanning across, Florida, California, and Hawaii, complemented by soothing oceanic hues, and critical attention to artistic beauty, while simultaneously stretching the boundaries of reality. 

Ms. Patman’s work celebrates anything from peaceful days on the beach, bold yet festive umbrellas, vivid stills of Cuban espressos and New Orleans Sazeracs. 

 
And now, the talented Ms. Patman has put all these life experiences on canvas. You can almost smell the salt air.
